Support for SENCOs and SEND teams
What our specialists cover Support for your SENCO, so they aren't carrying it alone.
SENCOs hold a wide brief, often with limited time and few people to think it through with. We give your SENCO and SEND team experienced support from former headteachers and SEND consultants, on the issues in front of them right now.
Support is agreed with your headteacher and SENCO, and focused where it makes the most difference.
How we can help
One-to-one sessions
Regular sessions with an experienced SEND consultant to plan, prioritise and talk through complex cases.
Putting plans into practice
Help turning the actions from your Provision Review or inclusion strategy into day-to-day practice.
Cover during change
Short-term support during a change of SENCO or a period of absence.
Inspection and reporting
Support preparing for inspection and reporting to leaders and governors.
How it works
We agree the focus with your headteacher and SENCO at the start, then provide support as a fixed number of sessions or a termly package.
Many schools add SENCO support after a Provision Review, to carry the action plan forward
