Terms & Conditions

Version 0.2 (draft) · 28 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of ThriveND's services for families, including memberships, calls with Jessie, the Ask Jessie email service, specialist bookings and related support. By becoming a member, booking a call or session, or otherwise using ThriveND's services, you agree to these Terms.

Work with schools, trusts and local authorities is covered by a separate written proposal and agreement, not by these Terms.

1. Who we are

ThriveND Limited (“ThriveND”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17480834, with its registered office at 3 Cresford Road, London SW6 2AH.

ThriveND provides advice, planning and support for families of neurodivergent children, and coordinates access to independent educational, behavioural and wellbeing specialists. ThriveND does not provide medical, diagnostic, therapeutic or emergency services.

2. Our services

Depending on your membership or booking, ThriveND may provide:

  • Calls with Jessie Hewitson and a written plan

  • The Ask Jessie email service

  • Specialist matching, coordination and booking

  • Reading and reviewing documents, such as EHCPs and reports

  • Session summaries or notes, where provided

  • Support resources and guidance

What is included in each membership is described on our website at the time you join. Specialists engaged through ThriveND are independent professionals, responsible for their own advice, opinions and professional conduct.

3. No medical or clinical advice

ThriveND's services do not replace medical assessment, diagnosis, therapy, treatment or emergency services. Any information, plans or summaries we provide are for general guidance only. Please seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional for any medical or clinical concern.

ThriveND is not an emergency service, and the Ask Jessie email service is not monitored outside working hours. If a child or anyone else is at immediate risk, call 999. For urgent health advice, call NHS 111.

4. Safeguarding

ThriveND takes safeguarding seriously. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • If ThriveND or a specialist becomes aware of information suggesting a risk of harm to a child or vulnerable person, appropriate action may be taken.

  • This may include contacting safeguarding authorities or support services where legally or ethically required.

  • Confidentiality may be overridden where safeguarding concerns arise, and we may act without telling you first where necessary.

Further details are set out in our Safeguarding Policy.

5. Fees and payment

Fees may include membership fees, specialist session fees, and charges for reading and reviewing documents. Reading and reviewing documents is not included in membership and is charged separately at the hourly rate of the specialist you have engaged. We will always tell you the cost before any chargeable work starts.

All payments must be made to ThriveND unless otherwise agreed, and are processed securely by Stripe. Specialist sessions are paid for at the time of booking, and a booking is confirmed only once payment is received.

We may change our prices. We will give members at least 30 days' notice of any change to membership fees, and you may cancel before the change takes effect.

6. Memberships

  • Memberships are paid monthly and continue on a rolling monthly basis until cancelled.

  • You can move between memberships in any month, in either direction.

  • You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@thrivend.co.uk.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for, and no further payments will be taken.

  • Membership fees already paid are non-refundable, except where required by law.

7. Your right to cancel within 14 days

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel a membership or booking within 14 days of the day you buy it, without giving a reason. To cancel, contact us at hello@thrivend.co.uk.

If you ask us to start providing the service within those 14 days, for example by booking a call or sending documents, and you then cancel, we may deduct an amount for the service already provided. Once a service has been fully provided at your request, you can no longer cancel it.

8. Cancelling or rescheduling specialist sessions

  • Sessions cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled time can be rescheduled, subject to availability.

  • Sessions cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time are non-refundable.

  • Not attending a session is treated as a late cancellation.

  • We may make exceptions at our discretion.

9. Summaries and notes

Where we provide summaries or notes of a call or session, they are not verbatim records and are for information only. They are not clinical, diagnostic, legal or professional reports. You remain responsible for decisions you make based on our advice.

10. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Give accurate and truthful information.

  • Treat Jessie, specialists and staff with respect.

  • Not record calls or sessions without everyone's explicit consent.

  • Use ThriveND's services lawfully.

We may suspend or end services for misuse or inappropriate behaviour.

11. Data protection

ThriveND processes personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, including information about your child, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and your rights.

12. Confidentiality

We treat your information sensitively. Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by law, necessary for safeguarding, or essential to provide the service (for example, sharing relevant information with a specialist you are referred to).

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • ThriveND is not responsible for the advice given by independent specialists, or for outcomes.

  • ThriveND does not guarantee specific results.

  • Our liability is limited to the fees you have paid for the relevant service.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or withdraw services where necessary, and will give members reasonable notice of any significant change.

15. Ending our services

We may suspend or end services for breach of these Terms, non-payment, misuse of services, or safeguarding concerns.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
